Deathfire Touch glitch?

Is the new mastery Deathfire Grip supposed to reset each tick of Brands fire damage because if so please stop it. It not a fun experience being ignited 4 times from a single ability.

Intended. Also works off of Malz's E, Swain's everything, Zyra's plants, Cass's Q and W, even Singed's poison trail. It's all GLORIOUS.

Yeah the problem with Deathfire touch is that it is op on Brand and Malzahar (hence they are two of the only AP champs to keep their high winrates despite the AP item nerfs), but it is weak on other champs that don't have a DOT effect in their kit. It functions in the same way as Liandry's but it is really strong to give them that effect when they were already high winrate in 5.21.
