I see everyone on pro builds run press the attack on jax, i find Electrocude to be a better snowballing rune. But why does everyone run press the attack? Thoughts?
PTA is super easy to proc with auto W auto so it amps your team's damage on a specific target, + the attack speed makes him clear faster.
Taking Electro only adds damage to you, and because jax mainly go tankier it doesn't help them much and makes his clear slower.
A jax is very rarely going to snowball early game in high elo. They also go a tankier build than you, making the dps focused keystone stronger.
Jax hits fast so he gets more bang for his buck if he gets PTA as he can deal more damage when it proc and he is decent ast sticking to his target. he doesn't burst his enemies down fast like Talon or Zed.
because press of the attack is continuous damage once proced.
that electrocute nonsense is trash on jax
electrocute is for burst damage style characters.
Press the attack gives % amplified damage to everyone, it's also on a tree with attackspeed which means higher dps/better clears then you can go resolve to be tankier.
