I've done the duel about 50 times by now... and it works.

What happens is .... the fight usually is a wash, unless Pyke has a .

Pyke's faster than Garen, and Garen can't kill him faster than he can get away. And once he's away, Pyke just heals back up, and Garen heals back up a little.

You don't stand still for this annoying matchup. You use it to keep him out of the game.

And yeah. I can 100% hit Q on Garen, especially if he's the aggressor (he kind of has no choice in the matter if you keep harassing him).

Pyke's W moves faster and before anything Garen can throw. Garen's move speed mostly relies on "out of combat" status, so it activates a couple seconds later, while Pyke's is in combat.

And if you thornmail, you can reduce how much Garen heals, and Pyke's R will scale higher damage than Garen's R.
