Riot, I need an answer right now

I have just finished my ranked provisionals. After ending up in Bronze ll last season, I was aspiring of reaching Silver this season and doing really well in my ranked placements. I played 10 games, and won 8 of them. I got placed into Bronze lll. Why is this system corrupt? I need an answer, why was I placed in lower elo, even though I beat the bronze noobs I've been playing against. I clearly don't belong in Bronze, but high Silver. 8 out of 10 wins, and you give me a worse rank? Answer me.

The placement also is based on your prior rank from s4

No that's ridiculous, my friend won just less than half and was placed in bronze 1, system is horrible. while his dou was placed in bronze 2.

Its cause you were bronze 2 last season. if you truely deserve not to be bronze, you'll climb really fast. but trust me, Silver is no better than bronze. its all garbage. (im silver 5 myself). and see the same retardedness as i saw in bronze.

Placements for this year changed from your rank being based ENTIRELY on your placement matches (As in a Bronze player could get carried hard for 10 games and end up in Plat 1 before losing constantly because he's bronze, or a Challenger player getting really bad teammates and ending up in low Bronze) to being based on your previous rank + placement matches. As in, the system is going to place you near your old rank. If you truly are good, you'll climb quickly and there is no problem. If you aren't, then the system placed you where you belong.

won 8/10 also got bronze 1 i was a s1 player last season.

I was only silver 2 last season...I already lost 3 games in a row...Probably going to wait until next year, I started to early in provisionals and got placed with troll bots that purposely feed.

Is that seriously it? What is the point of placements if all you do is get a worse rank? Even if I went 10-0 I bet I would have gotten Bronze ll.
