Maximum attack speed of Udyr

So I did some math today in school, rather than doing my school work. But knowing that maximum attack speed in the game is 2.5/s I was testing that theory using the champion Udyr.

So knowing that Udyr's Tiger stance gives him 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 / 70% Attack speed. If max attack speed with items was achieved on Udyr plus the bonus attack speed of his Q would he be able to surpass 2.5 attack speed? After doing some math I found out that using a max level tiger stance with 2.5/s attack speed he would be hitting at 4.25/s.

If someone could test this for me and confirm this for me that would be great!

Attack speed buffs from abilities is the same as attack speed buffs from items. You can't go past 2.5 unless you're kog'maw

"Maximum attack speed in the game is 2.5/s" means you cannot go above 2.5/s... Udyr is capped at 2.5/s, just like everyone else. If he is at 2.5/s just with items, then his Tiger Stance just does nothing for his attack speed.

It's hard capped. Like cdr, can you have more than 40% cdr? Hell yes. Can you use more than 40% (45% with the 5% mastery)? No. Attack speed works the same way. You can have more than 2.5, but nothing over 2.5 will do anything, unless you're Kog'Maw, which can double that up to 5.0.

I really needed this pointed out because I thought it was true but its really hard to tell in game. It seems strange that Udyr's tiger stance even goes up to +70% because by the time he has tiger lvl 5 he won't be able to use this attack speed, even without any items. This is a very confusing ability.
