List of positions and champions.

I need someone to tell me some of the best champions for certain positions and what are the best Abilities/spells to use with them (eg. Mid-[Champion]-[Abilities/spells]) Please because i cant find it anywhere and i really dont want to suck or to be criticised all the time.

I'll edit when I get home to list specific champions, but here's our basic meta right now.

Top: Tanks, Fighters; Flash, Teleport, Ghost, Ignite

Jungle: Tanks, Fighters, Assassins; Flash, Ghost, Smite

Mid: Mages, Assassins; Flash, Ghost, Ignite, Teleport, Barrier

Bot: Marksmen; Flash, Ghost, Heal

Support: Tanks, Mages, Fighters; Flash, Ghost, Exhaust, Ignite

What kind of champions do you like to play in each role? League is pretty diverse, so it would help to narrow down the type of champion so that it fits your playstyle and is still meta

there are also TONS of youtube vids out there that are short, to the point, and more entertaining than reading some blogs.

Just key word search exactly what you want to know and you will most likely find a few vids for each lane. (Ex. best top lane champs)

Watch a couple of those, think about Slythion's comment here, and then come back and ask/discuss again. I can also provide some advice but its one of those "it depends" situations.

There aren't really best champions for the most part We just have some fake meta that people loosely base on pro matches and win rates, but for the most part it typically defies all reason or logic.

For summoner spells: Take flash on everyone except Nasus or Singed, where you take ghost instead. For your other summoner spell: Take smite if you're a jungler, heal if you're an adc, exhaust (ignite if you're super aggressive) as a support, teleport as a top, and kinda anything at mid, but probably ignite, teleport, exhaust, heal or barrier. Oh and don't take the same summoner spell as the other person going bot if you're bot. So if your adc takes barrier, you can take heal if you want, but if he takes exhaust, then you probably want heal.
