Udyr needs a Visual Update

Just look at the ingame model, , i have been an Udyr main back in the days and i have stopped playing him just because of his model, it looks really bad, something new and refreshing is needed, srsly i cant stand to look at him like this anymore.

But that is not the only problem, his skins are terrible as well, not to be mean to the riot artist they do an fantastic job, but his skins are outdated and i don't think everybody has the money to spend on SGU and doesn't like the Definitely Not Udyr (like me).

His abilities are good they really don't need any rework(in my opinion), but his default skin, black belt Udyr and Primal Udyr really need a VU.

That's probably the reason why the Udyr players I see often have the Spirit Guard skin.

Really, the need of a VGU applies to A LOT of the Juggernaut champions (Last I checked, which was in the "Taking another look at sub-classes" Post Riot made, Udyr is still considered a Juggernaut). Udyr DrMundo Volibear Trundle Mordekaiser and to a certain extent Shyvana are all Juggernauts whose models and animations are very binary and could use the major overhaul/refreshing a VGU could give. The only ones that don't that come to mind, anyway, are as follows: Darius Garen Illaoi and Yorick .

his ult skin was his visual update, you just have to pay for it.

Unfortunately, Udyr's VU is Spirit Guard Udyr. They cannot physically upgrade Udyr's basic model without devaluing the Spirit Guard skin, and that'd send the people who felt forced in to buying the skin to have a good looking champion in a tizzy. Myself included, actually, since I've bought the skin across 3 accounts so that I never have to look at basic Udyr's waddling.

Sure i know that, and i'm not talking about anything too drastic, i don't want the people who bought the skin to feel bad for buying it and then the default ends up looking better, but on the other hand , people who want to play/main Udyr and don't have money are loosing out, and to be honest i think there are more people who don't have the money than those who have it. But maybe riot can find a way to please both sides, like give something extra to the people that have SGU, or rework the skin to have new particles, loading screen flare etc.

I'd honestly be okay with them updating Udyr, hell even make his default skin the Spirit Guard skin. But refund the RP for the skin on the accounts that own it. Not some dumb icon like Riot loves to do, we already got our four icons.

Make spirit guard Udyr as a base skin, and give us "spirit Udyr", aka transforming into the animal itself at the last rank of each stance [zombie-nunu-hearts]
