At what point does someones bad luck become a gameplay issue?
I know at face value this probably seems like the age old complaint of "My teammates are always bad!" and I get that but I'd still appreciate if you heard me out and gave me some thoughts on the matter. At what point does someones bad luck become a gameplay issue? I've been playing League since season 3 mostly playing on and off with friends and only truly started to aim to play competitively this year. However due to my experiences throughout this year I've found myself more often then not getting the short end of the stick in terms of the quality of my teammates. Now I'm not saying it happens all the time I've had my experiences of my opponents team having a rage quit, inters or just straight up afks but as of late and this is probably engorged due to my current state of mind its been happening a lot, I'd dare say too much for me to simply shrug it off and say "Well you win some you lose some".
Now due to these experiences I'm pressed with a question at just what point does someones bad luck regarding overly consistent amounts of unfortunate circumstances regarding interactions and encounters with other players become an issue with the game itself. I'm sure there are many people who have experienced similar to what I have this past year and for those who haven't I wouldn't wish it on any of you. It places you in a state of mind that is infuriating and confusing at the same time. You try to remain calm and pull through despite the clear disadvantages while those around you slowly succumb and begin to hinder the team more than contribute to its success.
(Edit In) I'm editing this in as a form of light at the end of the tunnel. I feel that there needs to be some communal way for people to avoid being disheartened by early losses in games resulting in the loss of the match entirely. Or some form of compensation for those who truly are having the worst of luck so that they too do not get disheartened by being in a similar circumstance to myself.
I apologize if this appears as just another rant but I felt this point should be made. I'd appreciate any thoughts or comments regarding this topic hopefully some kind of method or approach could reduce the chances of this happening to anyone.
