Wouldn't it be possible to give supports a little bit more gold in laning phase and take a look at their ranking because they cant get an s so simply yet they put a whole lot of effort in saving and doing their job.

S Rank Do you know how getting an S even works? It isn't really how well you do in a game. I mean, yes, it kind of is, but there are many other things that they look at. It mostly compares you to other players that played that champion in your area. if you did better than the best, you get an S. There are many things that people look at. Gold supports don't need to kill creeps to get gold. THey have items that increase the amount you get. They also have masteries too. There are many things that change the amount of gold that you get. You can always get gold by being a good support and helping with kills. Also, you can kill jungle monsters, but ask the jungler first. Support Just face it. We supports will never get the recognition that we deserve. Our job is hard, but fun.

This may be hard to believe but if you are unable to get an S than it is because compared to other supports in your elo you simply aren't outclassing them yet. Try warding more, dying less and getting more assists/kills.
