3v3 Ranked Placements

WARNING! THE FOLLOWING POST INCLUDES AN ANGER INDUCED RANT ABOUT MATCHMAKING, TRASH ME IN THE COMMENTS IF YOU'D LIKE. I HAVE NO FEELINGS AFTER WHAT JUST HAPPENED.

Hey everyone! Long time lurker here. This is my first post as I have never seen a point in logging in just to start or reply to something that I won't remember in 2 years, so go easy on me. I just wanted to bring up a somewhat touchy subject, and I'm going to try my very, VERY hardest to not caps spam or use language possibly offensive to some people.

First I'll start you off with some facts. My 3v3 Twisted Treeline Ranked Team, JesterIsAngr just finished our placements, hooray! BUT, regardless of our 5 games totaling 111 Kills, 64 Deaths, 117 Assists , 13 Double Kills, 2 Triples Kills, 4 Wins, 1 Loss, and 3 try hard personalities, we were ranked Bronze V. I've done a little bit of research and have heard down the grape vine that you are ranked based upon who you win and lose to. This can be somewhat difficult to calculate, for most teams you face in your promos seem to also be in their promos. Here's what we were up against.

21Ballers - 1/5 Placements complete, 1 loss. WON thescrubadubs - 2/5 Placements complete, 2 losses. WON Hobo Bros - Bronze IV, 5 wins, 11 losses. LOST PsychoDwarf Qc - Bronze 5, 1 win, 4 losses. We actually played them twice. We won Both WON PsychoDwarf Qc - Bronze 5, 1 win, 4 losses. WON

So, I suppose you could say that we only beat the bad teams and lost to the good one, but I have a huge problem accepting that, as they would not put us against other good ones! I mean, yeah, matchmaking is a small world in ranked 3's. But match us with some Silvers for the love of god, or maybe even some actual, oh I don't know, CURRENTLY PLACED TEAMS IN BRONZE!? Then we at least can calculate fairly where we belong!

I'd be fine with Bronze IV or Bronze III, but Bronze V is NOT where we belong. We are a moderately decent group! Sure, I could just suck it up and climb, I'd be happy with that, then I could prove that we deserve to be where we are! My team mates do NOT think the same way as me. They're a bunch of rum drinking couch potatoes ( ? )

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not looking to be moved. I'm looking to help the whole community of completely moderately skilled Twisted Treeline players not wanting to be placed in a League they shouldn't have to scale up like Mount Everest. I mean, there's Yetis up there!

In fact, I like the whole "ranked based upon your opponents skills and how well you play against them" idea. It's perfect! My only issue is that we did not get enough good people to test our skills against.

CONCLUSION - Matchmaking not enough to assess the teams skill. SOLUTION - 1. Add an option to do 5, 10, or 15 placements for your team. Maybe when you get to 5 it will tell you where you're at and give you an option to prove yourself? 2. Spread the matchmaking to at least Gold based on how well they did a game ago! It's not hard to figure out that they lost to a Gold V team, then won to a Silver II team that they should next play a Silver I team. THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE! I know that there isn't enough people queuing up for that to work, but maybe just a rough average?
