New Rammus Q channel get's cancelled by Talisman?

So I was playing around with Rammus in practice tool, and was seeing if anything changed about my full speed Rammus build, and quickly noticed that when in powerball form and upon activation of talisman, you get thrown out of power ball immediately. At first I thought that you couldn't use actives while in powerball anymore, but then I tried out Righteous Glory and that still works fine and you continue in powerball as you activate it. Is this a bug or intended?

I think the whole channeled thing is kind of a dumb change. He was already affected by CC. His patch notes look more like a nerf than an adjustment.

As for rather or not it's intentional, I would say no. That's a bug.

(Q) GETs CANCELLED WHEN USING Zz Rot Portal, Talisman of Ascension, Locket of the Iron Solari, Knight's Vow & Hextech GLP-800 but IT DOESN'T get cancelled when using Randuin's Omen, Righteous Glory or when Dropping Wards.................
