Ranked Elo as it is, can be pretty annoying

A little background info, i started playing league at the beginning of season 5. so i joined pretty late. And as soon as i hit level 30 i began to play ranked. Now most of the mistakes i make are just due to not having enough play time or experience (only about 850 games in total). After watching tons of streams for hours a day and practicing with a lot of different roles and such i found myself in silver 1. not very good i know but that isn't the issue. As it stands now my Elo is so messed up that the only players i get matched with are Gold 3-4 players who happened to be in platinum division in season 4. So whenever i win a game i only get 18-20 lp. and when i lose it takes away 118-20 lp. First of all. I'm not at they're level yet. i just don't have the same experience. Mechanically I'm very good, but my decision making is poor. so it may seem like i do well when i don't go 1-13 every other game. but overall I'm just an average player. i do have some friends in gold/plat that i play with every once in a while, but only in normal mode. i only solo queue when i play ranked. as it stands i can't get anywhere. all i really want is to be matched with people either with the same experience as me, or against players that are in my same division. If i'm going to be matched with only gold players. then put me in gold. it's pretty obnoxious to be matched against people who have 5 times the amount of experience that i have for no reason.

TL;DR: im silver 1 with no experience. i only get matched with people a division higher than me
