Diamond and Plat in my Iron game
So is Treeline even worth playing? I just got put up against a Plat yi that stomped us despite our diamond shyv. Im in Iron so why am I seeing anyone from above bronze?

Personal opinion incoming: I don't think Treeline is too popular anymore, with the majority of players using SR instead. It's possible the game simply matched you up with who was available for a match.
Treeline is not worth playing. Only ARAM and SR are playable.
When you abandon a gamemode yes, such problems will rise. Same happened to Dominion and it got removed (bots everywhere and no matchmaking made the playerbase drop dramatically) and so will unfortunately will TT
Because it is a flex queue, they have their own mmr that doesn't reflect what people are in solo. So you're going to see screwy teams that look like iron 4 + bronze 2 + plat 3 vs diamond 1 + gold 2 + silver 3. As those are their solo ranks, where as their flex for 3s could be Iron, Bronze, Silver.
Also looking in the match, that "Diamond" shy comes off as heavily boosted. They were Silver last season and now Diamond 3 with champs they never play or suddenly doing 10x better at? Yeah. So just cause you see someone at a rank that might be higher than someone else on either team, doesn't always mean they truly were.

I had that all the time, got really annyoed from it, first I was against rito removing TT as a Map but now, I wish they would do it today than tomorrow. The Matchmaking is bs there.
Well let´s see how riot will deal with the bot accounts.
It's only worth playing ranked on TT to get gold for the end of season rewards like the chromas.
most the people who goes to treeline are bots there to farm xp. if you want an alternative to summoners rift try aram.
