Oh I don't "feel" anything, I KNOW for solid proven fact that I don't belong in Bronze where I'm stuck at the moment. Why not? Because I was in Silver in season 4.
After the league divisions were introduced to replace the Elo system, I was placed (as most of us were) into Bronze IV, but rapidly clawed my way up out of the mire into Silver. Of course, in season 5 I got dumped back into Bronze again because Riot's placements system is retarded and stupid, but this time I couldn't get out.
So what, was I just inexplicably worse at the game than I was before? Don't be stupid, I was even better in season 5 than I had been in season 4, especially since I'd been expanding my champion pool beyond just being a support main. What was actually happening was a non-stop barrage of bullshit that prevented me from having a fair chance at progressing (most notably the stupid changes they made to the LP system that caused me to lose as much or more LP for a loss than I gained for a win, unlike in both season 4 and 6 where losses and gains are skewed towards progression as long as you go roughly even). With the simply absurd number of bullshit 4v5 losses, intentional feeders (including at least one feedbot that did nothing but walk up midlane straight into the enemy turret from the start of the game to the finish) and a not at all balanced number of enemy feeders and 5v4 wins, I simply didn't have a chance. It's not selective memory, it's fucking fact. If you have the patience to go back a year and a half, you could look at my match history.
The league ranked system is not at all fair, can never be fair at all, and anyone who says otherwise is deluded. Because you're not rewarded or punished based on your skill and performance, but on the collective performance of your team- even if some of them literally don't perform at all. If you lose a 4v5 (or even a 3v5, as my unfortunate opponents in my last game just did) you get penalised exactly as hard as you do if you lost a closely-contested and fair game where you just got outplayed by superior opponents. I've seen players so bad they shouldn't even be allowed to play get undeserved wins because they got carried by a self-confessed smurf (I had a long post-game chat with a guy who admitted to being a platinum smurf after he'd single-handedly destroyed our team where he candidly agreed that if he hadn't been smurfing we would have probably won) or because the other team had a DC. I've seen players go utterly mental, wreaking total carnage on their opponents and almost carrying the game, but still losing because some douchebag on their team decided "I want to make you guys lose because I'm an asshole" (try asking me about the Ryze who decided to feed all game long because his Udyr got the last hit on the kill when he ganked for him). I have seen WAY more than my fair share of game results that are complete and utter bullshit, far too many to believe any lamb bleating about the game being "fair". Fairness doesn't exist.
As long as players aren't assessed and rewarded based on their skill and performance alone instead of getting a basic "you won, have some LP/you lost, fork over some LP" dismissal (an impossible pipe-dream), LoL can never be fair. If you believe otherwise, you need a reality check. So enough with the "you're is exactly where you deserve to be because you're bad" bullshit. It doesn't align with the basic facts of reality.
