Hi, This is my first season of league. I was placed in B1, messed up and ended up in B4. I got really driven to climb and in 1 month and 1 week went from B4 to S3. My LP gain has been 16...and my last win, a 3 win streak I gained 15 LP. Someone please help me understand what is going on. When I was in B1 I was gaining like 26 a win? you have Silver 1 MMR, but your last match was against all Silver 4 players... so you didnt win as much LP, it'll put you up against higher ranked people soon if you keep winning. then you can expect more LP gains
The MMR/Rank of the people you beat or have on your team have an effect on it. In some occasions where a high ranked player is matched up with people far below, hes not going to get much and the rest of his team may get less as if it took less effort. On the other hand, if you beat a generally stronger team, you will get more LP or even skip divisions. The system is kinda weird.
LP gains depends on your teams MMR and enemy teams MMR, if you've been on a recent losing streak a 3 win streak wont make your mmr bounce back if thats not the issue then maybe its cause matchmaking can be a little wonky sometimes just keep winning and those gains will pump up again
If you keep winning, your mmr will go up, so if you can keep it up you will eventually be back to 20-30 per win.
Okay so I lost a game and lost 22 lp, I win I get 15 LP, but yet I've won most games to climb so much, is it that I have climbed faster than my mmr? Do I need to have like 2 wins, 1 loss, and go back and fourth till my mmr catches up?
