How long does riot take to tweak a rune?

I know Dark Harvest was a marginally used rune before, but at least it was used right?

The changes to Dark Harvest have really only succeeded to make Karthus a more reasonable pick (I'm sure its usable in other situations).

Wouldn't it make sense to at least tweak it at some point? Looks like it was last changed in December, in reaction to Karthus being too strong if memory serves me.

Idk, took them ages to tweak Aftershock, when full well they know CotC would be a better rune than it.

it varies

assume maybe, if there is a big enough of a problem (like old DH) that it would take maybe a month or two max for them to start changing stuff

I really don't get why cotc was removed and aftershock was made. It's cotc for non-tanks, and even stronger.

idk, this is the same Riot that left Riven in a op state for 8 patches. The same one about to nerf Aatrox even though teams just wont pick his counters (talking pro play, the CG vs TL game, Impact did it right, but then Huni decides fuck it, and picks Trist top in the last game of the series despite Renekton being up) This is also the same company that wont enforce IP bans with permabans.

Because at Riot and White Knight inc, we won't try anything that has even a slight chance of failing, except for the IFS report system of course, that piece of shit can stay!

Like, I deadass sent in a ticket to ask them why they wont implement it. There should be no reason NOT to. The only time they would have a reason not to is if CSGO gets rid of theirs, and im pretty sure Valve has plenty of solid reasons to keep it.

"B-BUT PEOPLE CAN GET AROUND IP BANS! ABOUT 300 PEOPLE OF THE 17,000 PERMABANNED EACH YEAR WOULD JUST USE VPN! OR CHANGE THEIR IP ADDRESS! CLEARLY THOSE 14,000 BANS AREN'T WORTH IT! BETTER TO LEAVE ALL 17,000!"

So their reason is because of people possibly being banned because they happen to be on that address. Okay, but why cant you even inforce more stricter punishments if you cant do that. Like...idk what to think anymore. We've got Jax getting buffs that then made him over the top (currently rushes SoS second item, let that sink in for counterplay), and now we are nerfing healthy state Aatrox, for no reason. Im just convinced Riot doesnt give a shit about top or jg at this point.

It took them three years after the initial launch to get Clash working, so you tell me.

Depends on whether or not bruisers use it. Conquerer is the best example. This rune was and still is broken out it’s ass. But riot let’s it exist.

Dark harvest And fleet footwork on the other hand were gutted into the dirt as soon as they saw any real relevance.

riot first needs to google what "tweak a rune" means. and that can take time you know.

Electrocute survived for most of season 8 without any nerfs , it used to have double it's current damage But there was a big circle jerk about assassins being weak so they didn't nerf the rune until they noticed how overpowered the rune was which took most of season 8 That's not only rioters , even the playerbase was against nerfing electrocute for a while
