This matchmaking is a joke

I'm not sure how somehow this game was fair. Like, the lowest on my team can't even queue up with the highest on their team and somehow we lose the same amount of LP because of your ridiculous matchmaking. Even worse is how this fizz who was probably on a smurf was talking trash the entire game saying my team is full of baddies when literally our mmr should have been a few hundred below theirs and we get matched in the same game. What a life.

There is a 10% different in MMR between the 2 teams which is ridiculous, at most it should be 5%. However, the bigger issue is the 21% difference between the lowest player (Silver 1) verses the highest player (Platinum 5): if those players were laning against each other, the P5 would curb stomp the S1 and carry the team. There should be a hard limit on the difference between individual players as well as the team as a whole.

Smurfs, unfortunately, you can't do much about unless Riot promotes faster based on win streaks. You win 1 game, your MMR raises just a little; you win 2 games in a row, your MMR raises more than it would with just 1 game; you win 3 games in a row, your MMR raises a lot more than it would with just 2 games, etc.
