Simple solution to lower wait time

I have a very simple idea for RIOT that would help reduce queue time without compromising the quality of matches. We know that support is the least queued for position which is creating the long wait time, so why not create an incentive for the support role? How? Simply make it so that anyone who fills or plays support they get more LP won (i.e. +5 LP) than they would have if they played any other role. If you lose as a support with my suggested system, you lose the same LP as everyone else.

This should create more demand for the support role. Can we also bring back soloq please?

ha. I'm one of those ADC/MID/TOP players and even I would considering supporting once in awhile if I had this incentive.

OR

They could just make the only que option FILL.

You get what you get and learn to play all roles.

Dumb idea, people would just feed for their roles I believe

Feed for their role? Ummm the game would have to start for them to feed, you do know that right?

So there is no way they can feed to get their role. They have their roles before the game starts.

They can threaten to feed all they want and if game starts and they do then just report them. People that think reports mean nothing will soon sadly find out when reported enough.

So the only thing they are feeding is the evidence against them in tribunal.

Some people are retarded and would do anything for mid lane (for example) so its more like a blind pick not draft mode and it might cause to no jungler and 2 mid

Then why even have dynamic queue in the first place?

Then everyone would play support. The only way to fix queue times, is to fix matchmaking, which in itself is a joke.

I welcome that day and if that plays out where everyone wants to support, RIOT could have a running algo to see which role is least in demand and move the incentive from support to that role.

No matter even if they did that, it would still cause immense queue times because everyone would be doing it. As soon as it switches, boom, there goes the players to that role, and the cycle continues.

Supply and Demand incentive! Mark whichever position is most in demand atm during lane select with the enticement.

Basically, yes. It's a way RIOT can manage the wait time.

i like your idea, but maybe a lot of bad support will try to do this. We need to make it clear on how to play support. LIKE RUSHING SIGHSTONE WTF WHY DOES NO ONE DO THIS. And maybe if some support were a little more fun........ people would q for it
