Un-Fair Reporting System

I was in a normal game by myself and my teammates for in a group of four they were all trolls i was trying to play and they were just trolling the whole game anyways after the game i said report everyone on my team but me in all chat when i left the stat menu i got a message from league saying i got reported for verbal abuse and i should have better behavior or something like that so i didn't do anything wrong but the other 4 trolls reported me and now im the one in trouble.

I do agree with this, the tribunal system is really out of date and could use some serious improvements. I really Dislike the fact you can report someone for unskilled player. so what if someone does bad everyone does bad once in awhile this just promotes people to report for dumb things. the same for grieving or verbal abuse its the same thing. and I've had the same issue as well with being reported by the rest of the team (because they were all playing together) to report someone who doesn't deserve it. and sometimes I wish riot would look at pre game chat and post chat because I've seen bad things go on after and before game.

Unskilled player isn't a punishable report... it's literally a placebo, there for those that WANT to report, but don't have a legit reason to report. It makes those people feel better.

Don't tell the other team to report your team. Honestly, I report people who say that even if it's the only thing they said. The other team can't see you're being trolled, and if they can, it's up to them to report, not you. You should've stayed quiet and reported them yourself.

I have never had a problem with the system. SO MANY PEOPLE have complained that they got banned after retaliating to someone else being rude. It doesn't matter who started it, the rules are the same for both sides. Don't complain about their behavior in all chat. Just report them, and trust that they will be the ones who get banned if they continue to act that way. If you do that, you won't have these problems.

I've been reported when I told my teammate to stop berating the enemy team when we were stomping them before..

Plot Twist? I told him to stop in all chat, got 5 honours from the enemy team.

All you have to do is be a proper human being and you shouldn't have to worry about getting reported.

That's awesome, and I can't tell if you are agreeing or disagreeing with me.

Either way, this situation is different because you seem like you reasonably intervened for someone else. If we was berating you, and you berated him in all chat, I doubt the same would occur.
