Does anyone else not like the Snowball in ARAM?

Recently Riot included the "mark" summoner in ARAM. Similar to the summoner 31 . Since it has been included I have found ARAM to be less fun, and unnecessarily chaotic. The mechanic, in my opinion, seems to overly favor tanks, and allow them to cross too much distance. Not to mention that some champs can't really do anything when the entire team is suddenly a quarter of the map closer. I think the core idea makes sense when dealing exceptionally long range champs like Xerath or Velkoz but weird shorter ranged squishies like Twitch , Sivir , or Malzahar seem to be impossible to use effectively when having to dodge 5 snowballs or be instantly killed.

Yes, they're in the favors of tanks and bruisers as they're usually getting bullied all game long. At least they have a chance.

I take it that you didn't play much Legend of the Poro King?

It's not so much that it favors tanks.

But that it favors CC and mobility. Someone with CC or mobility can land it, go in, burst their target, then use their CC or mobility to get out.

Melee tend to have these more than ranged. And a lot of ranged that do have the CC for this usually are not as effective or are harder to land.

I enjoy playing immobile mages because I find they have more enjoyable kits to make up for it.

ARAM before was won with mostly who could poke better and CC(or disengage) better. It was about wearing the enemy down and locking them down.

Now they added mobility on that list. And not in a good way. They didn't make all 3 paths to win. They made the first 2 without mobility weaker. Outside of the case of most melee.

The range and CD are far too long. Reduce it to around Lee's range, probably a little less. And make the cooldown 60s, returning half if dash is used. Remove the damage.

It was supposed to help those that need it. Not turn every champion into the best engager in the game.

A lot of people don't like it - there's been quite a few threads and conversations about it, hopefully Riot is getting the message. Right now I think the plan is to "adjust it". I wish the plan was to remove it.
