Non-competitive side of League of Legends

Hi guys! I just went into a normal game and desided to try out some ap jhin on mid lane, just for fun of course. I have never played Jhin before so I go 3/9/2. I got some fun moments where I oneshotted an enemy with my traps, but because my build wasn't very competitive we ended up losing the game. My team blamed me for not being useful and trolling. I can say I didn't troll, I did my best to win the game. The only exception is that I also wanted to have fun while playing for the win.

Does Riot offer us 100% non-competitive gamemode? I don't mean that in the gamemode everyone could just troll. It could be something similar to a football game with friends at someones backyard; of course both teams are playing for win, but players might not care so much about their roles or strategies, because after all it's just a game and they are having fun without any real competition. When I play normal games in League of Legends, I don't feel like the main goal is to have fun. I'm forced to play how meta tells me to.

This is a major problem in today's League. We have seen Nightblue and many other players quit League because they were not allowed to play things they liked. I don't come to say this as if League of Legends itself was a bad game; I have played this game for many years now and I'm very grateful for people who made this game. Because I like this game so much, I don't want it to be ruined by this factor.

So what I recommend as an good opinion to solve this problem? Let's make two different "normal" gamemodes. First one would be for the players who want competitive gameplay but don't want to play ranked mode (maybe they don't want to lose lp and they want to practise their skills) and the other one would be for players like me who really just** want to try out off-meta stuff** and not get blamed for it. I totally understand players who are playing games just to win them and how frustrating it can be to play with a 3/9/2 ap Jhin on your team, but if I'm not mistaken I also should have a right to play what I want as long as I don't intentionally ruin others games.

I put out a poll so we can see if any of you guys think the same with me. It's interesting to see how our community responds to this, maybe most of us really just want to play competitively. Even still, if 30% of us want a gamemode where you are free to have fun without being hated, Riot should definitely discuss this topic more and maybe make a new gamemode for us. After all, Riot has always wanted to make a enjoyable game for it's gamers.
