Stealth is a really unfair mechanic.

Rengar can stealth for 30 seconds. While he is stealthed, he gains move speed Its difficult to run from him, If he touches you you are basically dead.

"Pink wards, pink wards, pink wards. every one get a pink ward) This doesn't do anything. Its a ward

that costs 75 gold

and when the enemy destroys the ward they get 30 gold, that is almost half of your gold back. and its not hard to destroy ether. so, I refuse to buy a pink ward.

Rengar has camoflauge which can be revealed by control wards. And grouping weakens Rengar's killing power.

Clearly you have never seen a Rengar delete three people instantly.

Yeah because I have a team that isn't all squishy and/or knows how to peel. Or shitty Rengars. Or both.

VeterenMantis1 votes

yes, because AD Carrys, Mids, and supports are not all commonly squishy, you know arguably the most important members of the whole team?

It's not like it's impossible to protect them.

Too many champions can just run up to a carry and instantly 100-0 and there is nothing any one on your team can do about it.

Rengar Nocturne, and shaco. Shaco to a lesser extent( are all really good examples of this). The time they jump on you to the time you die is quite honestly Seconds. you have one single second to realize, "Oh, there they are" and even after you see them, there is not really much any one can do to stop it.

However, Champions like hecarium, Vi, and less sin are tank enough and often run dead mans plate so, you have an invincible super tank that runs right past every one 2 shots the carry and, Nope, nothing any one can do about it.

your points are invalid.

You're seriously not considering the power of peel?

VeterenMantis1 votes

What peel, there is no peel against them. you die, instantly, No time to flash away, No time for your team to land a hook or CC them.

My points are only invalid because you missed them entirely - which is on you.

I'll give you a second chance by clearing the clutter since you so clearly missed it by constantly saying his bola strike counters everything I suggested.

Stand in minions when you see his ulti indicator

I simply was giving examples of how every champion I play regularly beats him 1v1. Stand in minions, his bola strike is useless, then either stand and fight if you're a fighter/tank (e.g. J4) or kite away and kill from distance if not (Quinn/Ahri).

Of course some champions are sitting ducks for him (e.g. Jinx) but those champions shouldn't be farming alone at any point of the game. They're very ally dependent.

Ok, you are beyond logic and reasoning.

a) rengar doesn't have stealth, he has camouflage b) rengar really can be beaten, even when he ults. I don't see where all the hate is coming from. Learn to stand up to the guy. I've played with or against 6 rengars in the last ~15 games that I bothered to check and his team has lost every time. Even if he gets fed, he's rather useless past mid game. They all get it in their heads that he can 1v1 anyone and have to commit when they ult. Literally every time is the same: Tries to jump on me JarvanIV, I get the indicator I keep clearing the wave solo and stand in middle of my minions, he can't get a net on me because it hits minions. Once his net misses it's an easy 1v1 fight won. Tries to jump on me Quinn, again stand in minions to eat the net then vault off of him and kite (away from bushes so he can't leap). Tries to jump on me Ahri , again stand in minions to eat the net (see a pattern here?) and then I R-E-Q-W-R-Ignite-R-Q(if he isn't already dead).

That's one fighter, one mage/assassin, and one marksmen that I've successfully outdueled Rengar just about every time even if he's fed. That's completely ignoring that you get the indicator as soon as he ults (so you should see him with regular wards if he holds it too long, and otherwise you get the indicator so early you should be able to group for him). Also consistently seeing enemy Vayne's delete my allied Rengars, although I won't bother going on with that given everyone thinks she's broken now (probably wouldn't be doing well if the ADCs playing against her stopped crapping themselves in lane... I've never seen Vaynes win lanes this much before...).

Ok, Expecting One specific champion to be on your team or the enemy team is a pretty poorly though out example.

Jarvan, is not supposed to be a back line, hes supposed to hard engage tank. So, what is Jarvan going to do when your carry get one hit killed secondly Jarvan is a tank and really has no reason to build damage.

Quinn is only rarely played. you expect Rengar to jump on Quinn when Quinn has as escape? you do know if a good Rengar did ult on you with your vault up he would just Bola strike you right?

same thing with Quinn. If you try to jump away. he will just ebola strike you, if not just flat out one shot you before you can react, you can't all ways expect to have your abilitys and mana, What happens after you run out? flash s a five minute cool down, don't expect it to be your savior.
