What concerns to make Riot stop making AI smarter and harder?

This topic included but not limited to bots' AI. AI is definitely a trend of tech and the world for testing and applying for very complicated programs, formula, scripts etc.. Riot is a game developer and also a kind of entertainment company but they seem not to invest in AI engine. So what concerns to make Riot disregard the importance of AI development?
