Riot trying to make support more popular for queue times

you know ive played support since season 2 - season 5 and probably will continue to play it as a 2ndary role, now you may ask why dont i primary it, well thats because theres not much for supports to do while you can just play mid laners with the same style of gameplay of peel and kite. You see in my opinion the funnest season to play support was season 3, all new support items with unique passive and play making abilities. you see what riot did back in season three was they made supports a threat, knowing that your a threat makes both laning and the game funner, why should supports be the only ones not doing damage. i question why riot gave "traditional supports" AP ratios anyways if they were just going to take them all away or nerf them to nonexistance. now when i say traditional supports i mean healers, shielders and cc tanks such as braum, but if you havent noticed they are opted out for syndras 5 man stuns or back in the day annie support, brand is still big now. hmmm why was zyra in the mage update to make her more of a support i dont get it?
