Kayn ulti on ADC in teamfight...

Pense Martin··2 votes·1,741 views

So I play vayne adc. Every teamfight their kayn will just ulti me and that pretty much takes me out of the fight for 5 seconds or longer. Because while i wait for kayn to appear again their adc can do tons of damage to my team while I do none. And in that time where I do no damage they already kill most of our frontline or at least do great damage. What to do against that?

Kayn does not deal any damage while he is "inside you", and when he leaves the damage he can do is strictly dependent on being able to stay next to you.

As Vayne, you can Condemn him away from you, and since you have the majority of control over where Kayn will emerge, you should be able to set him up for an easy wall-pin-stun. Consider also taking advantage of your ultimate's invisibility during Tumble to give yourself the breathing room necessary to aim your abilities properly.

In a teamfight scenario, it may be more valuable to simply keep fighting and deal with the problem later. Once again, as Vayne, you have all the tools you need to keep yourself safe, or at the very least delay any significant damage until an ally is able to assist you. Tumble management is key here, and makes the difference between life and death.

It was just weird when he ulted me I naturally walk backwards and wait till he comes out so i can deal with him. But in that time I didnt deal any damage to someone else and stood back. The problem was our frontline was dead very quickly and then it was 3 v 5 which is hard to win. So you say i need to just ignore him and attack other targets as usual and then just dodge the kayn cc when he comes out?

There are only two reasons to abandon your team while a Kayn ult's you: -You've already exhausted your meaningful cooldowns, and there is no significance to your death, while Kayn's exit may pose a threat to an ally. -Kayn is chosing you as his target in an act of desperation, and you really want to rub it in that he can't kill you 1v1.

In all other cases, regardless of the version of Kayn you face, the correct solution is to keep calm and stay near your team. Especially as a champion as elusive as Vayne.

why does it keep you from attacking?

you actually should attack during him being inside you to lifesteal back up.

also, he has to damage you first to Ult you, so you can also easily avoid getting ulted by staying away from him, and E-ing him when he tries to get onto you.

both are horrible options for an adc, rather just get ga or steraks or frozen mallet or something that makes you beefy but still provides damage. getting zhonya for the active only is a complete waste of 3k gold lol.

depends on the adc. geee lets think on this varus, corki, mf, ashe all have ap scaling so no not horrible. besides with ga ur out of the figth for 10secs so truly not being able to get ulted unless ur shield gets burned or using hourglass which is 2.5 secs and on top of that ur still in the fight so ur wrong there champ

Context bro. OP stated they were playing Vayne.

Also no, this is terrible advice. AP items do not work on Marksmen for the most part.

Varus is the only exception. Corki, MF, and Ashe all scale better with AD or Crit anyway.

The best advice for dealing with any Kayn is that... His entire kit doing anything useful, is gated behind landing a 8second CD, easily predictable, easy avoided skillshot. Side step his W, and avoid this situation all together.

lol why i get downvoted for asking a question? dont understand

Because you put "..." in the title which gives a sense of "this is common sense" or "wow this is really ridiculous". At least on the internets. For your post it's the latter.

For example: "Twitch with ardent is so stupid..."

or

"Wow! How is this Trundle so tanky when he didn't build any tank items!?" "Because he's ulting you and you have 5000 health and 500 armor / magic resist..."

So when you put in the title "Kayn ulti on ADC in teamfight..." and follow up with "Hey this has no counter play and I'm not gonna use anything to base this statement on" it's just completely wrong. The "..." gives your title a tone of "wow this is bullshit", when coupled with your bullshit post leading to the downvotes cause this post is bullshit.

Nice interpretation sir! Well done. With your imagination you should work at some local newspaper. I just meant to ask a sincere question lol. No need to be a douchebag xd.

It's not imagination it's reality lol. Your tone in the title and your nonsense in the post resulted in the downvotes. I downvoted when I read the title because I knew you were gonna say something along the lines of "Kayn ult on ADC means I can't do anything and it's bullshit".

Lo and behold that's what you say in the main post.

Now if your title went something like this:

"What do you do when Kayn ults you?"

And your main post goes like this:

"I don't know what to do when Kayn ults me [...]"

Than your post wouldn't have garnered any downvotes cause you're asking a sincere question and are not imposing any bullshit logic on anyone.

Sounds like you need to write a book, on forum etiquette. I actually understood the point you were trying to make ahah.

You realize that if he never hits you before the ult...he can't ult you...right? He can only ult those who he tagged.
