will my rank eventually stabilize, sick of only gaining 15 lp throughout season 8/preseason

So as the title says, I've been gaining 15 lp each game while losing 26 lp despite going on large winstreaks and losing very few games. This started to happen late last year while I was in s1 and it just stopped me from climbing because each time I played I would win 2 games and lose 1 and drop back down to where I started (losing streaks were horrible losing close to 45 lp within just 2 games). First thought was that mmr was low and would eventually go back to normal but that didn't happen at all. Than preseason hit and I thought maybe now it would be ok, but still losing 26 lp gaining 15.

While im fine with this now because its preseason, I was wondering if the new season would reset this (even if it means placing me in a lower rank) and I could gain and equal amount of LP to how much I lose. Thanks in advance!

You need to narrow down to one role, and 2-3 champs in it who are all game changers.

If you can win 10 in a row, you'll start to see those LP gains change a lot.

P.S. When Season 9 Starts your LP penalty will be reset too. But.... depending on your placements, and the first 20 or so games after it...... you could get yourself right back in that hole. Or, you could see your LP gains rise.
