Why i think darius needs a nerf

So the recent darius changes have bought his scale of OP into a new light. sure darius was powerful before but i feel that i never really saw him played and as such was never really a problem, and as such i can understand why he would need a rework. now i know that people will say that all i need to do is put him behind and it will be gg right? but here is where this plan goes down the toilet... i was playing a game as udyr today and managed to pull first blood which was great, i was thinking to myself "maybe he isn't that broken!" but then the bullshit began. I chased him down on top lane when he was on 200hp with about 150 mana i was thinking oh ok cool here's my second kill but no darius hit me with his q 3 times healed any damage i was doing and continued to walk out of lane like nothing happened! this should not happen when all he has is a freaking phage!!! one item and he can heal for like 150hp per q? this is not fair nor fun to lane against he is almost impossible to kill and in my opinion the rework was a step in the wrong direction.

I looked your matchhistory up, the first thing I have noticed is that you are buying WAY too much damage as Udyr even if behind. If you get fb against Darius you want to keep this lead and you should go for a tank item. Frozen heart, DMP, Randuins, just something that makes you nearly unkillable. Instead you have picked up Botrk/Phage.

Darius only heals off his q if you are at the edge of his axe so you should stay next do him or don't try to chase him if you can't reach him.

I dunno, I always hate having Darius on my team. It means that I'm forced to pick someone who has an extremely good engage+CC/movement speed buffs, or he's going to be useless.

I also never have any trouble against him... but I mostly play mid.

  1. darius was much, much, much stronger before the rework but also much harder to use. practically nobody in the entire world could play him properly except a chosen few

  2. he is fine now and you simply have no idea how to play the game. no offense bro, but killing a champion isnt the only way (its actually the least reliable way) of putting him behind.

So you ate his Q three times instead of stepping back to dodge and you're upset that he healed when you could have easily sidestepped and killed him?

You could just not be so indecisive and scared. If he Qs you have 2 options. Commit hard, get right up in his face and you'll avoid half the damage and he won't get a heal or a bleed stack. Your other option is to make sure it doesn't hit you.

Don't just start running back to dodge it if you can't get out completely, it's better to just get right in his face and take only half damage.

It's the fact that at level 18 he got over 300 AD WITH NO FUCKING AD ITEMS by attacking 5 times.
