Graves counters kalista

So i might be totally wrong here or partially right.. Because im still in low elo and people dont know how to play kalista.. I have plated only 2 games against a kalista as graves and he just wrecks her She cannot trade back if graves does the EQ combo coz she is very squishy and will eat a few AAs while she tries to kite and gain distance Graves can just juke her ultimate His smokescreen makes kalista useless coz she cannot attack at all

As i said i might be wrong here but pls tell me if i am right.. It was fun wrecking a kalista in these 2 games

The key to a good Kalista is an aggressive support. She is worthless without one.

most ranged ADCs are pretty good against kalista, actually. she only really excels versus melees, and some melee's are still pretty decent against her ( Zed Riven Blitzcrank Fiora )

unless she's against a somewhat immobile melee, kalista loses most 1v1s from my experience. she really relies on the burst damage from her passive to win fights.

Vayne does the best vs kalista from what i have seen. She does good against kalista and most supports kalista lanes well with, excluding morgana. Graves might be good too. I didnt even think about the smokescreen on graves till now, That would make her miss an attack, not just keep her from attacking.

I have been taking taric into kalista a lot too. She cant dodge that stun, and i like him against most kalista supports excluding morgana again.

Kalista's win rate is under 40%.

Right now everyone counters Kalista.

people go from Kal is so broken infidashes ermaigerd hurrduurrrr, rito nurf pls to contrary to past beliefs, Kal is fairly weak and loses to many non melee champions

maybe if we gave warwick abit more time people would complain less ;l

any lane bully champ should be able to get fed off of a kalista lane. Graves Ezreal Caitlyn Draven all do extremely well against kalista

She need the right support. She doesn't have a lot of damage early and depends a lot from the damage from your support. I find her relative anyoing with a good Janna tho.

She also has proof her worth with champions like Sona .

Besides that it doesn't feel she has a lot of synergie with other supports. Thresh can lane with anything while Leona never had that synergie issue.

Because her low early damage I feel she will need a support that has add least has some zoning potentional. This makes melee supports situational. But this support also need synergie with her ultimate and be healthy enouge to survive something like that. This basicly make it verry difficult to use poke supports unless they are building more tanky than they would do with other adc's.
