I believe I'm right on on this, but graves must have buffered his R or E with the other. (I forget how it works on him, I don't play graves.) Meaning that he pressed both of the buttons before he was ulted, so he still used them. Kinda like how if riven presses E then Q right before getting hit by some kind of CC, she will still E and Q.

Think of it like getting hit by a Morgana snare right after pressing your dash on Ekko . You will still do the dash.

But graves/riven buffered the input with another one. So 2 things happened after getting CC'd.

His ult is a special case where he knocks himself back, it's not really a dash. I guarantee he did not e during the ult.

Now, calm down and stop sounding like a salty little bitch, jesus.

His ult isn't a stun, so enemies may use abilities for the duration. Graves may use his r and knock himself back a few units when rooted. Are you going to complain about jarvan too? Or shaco, who can ult while rooted.
