Ranking system (Inactivity)

To sum it up, I've recently hit gold 5 and I'm at 0 LP. I've lost more than I've won and I'd like to not play ranked till November, when the rankings get the reset. Will I be demoted from gold to silver if I do not play ranked till the reset?
