I had tried my very best to stop riot from updating (nerfing) Aatrox, I had tried my best to suggest better changes (as well as other Aatrox mains), and at this point it's safe to say I know how riot sees things.

Riot likes to specifically look at winrates. I have talked to one of the game designers before the rework and he said "Aatrox is doing better than people think" referring to his past peak at 51% winrate. But it's kind of obvious if you have a very small group of players who force themselves to bear with Aatrox's weaknesses and figure out what they have to do every game, their winrate won't stay low, therefore the winrate shoots up because only players that make up the current, dropping, 1.8% playrate (or 0.8% past playrate) who can deal with that directly translate over to the winrate of the champion overall.

I'm also referring to how meddler states Aatrox should be in a good place or the right direction to be reworked but every Aatrox main knew how it would turn out. And the end result was a 34% winrate and Riot looked specifically at this and only that made them realize their mistakes. Having people actually try and see Aatrox for themselves showed his true colors instead of 100 to 200 people that can bring that champs winrate up to 51% by themselves. Now that his playrate is dropping around 1% per day his winrate is increasing at a fast pace even BEFORE the hotfix. They made this rework just to nerf Aatrox gaining the same winrate with less people playing him (since you can't play him jg now).

Riot please stop looking at winrate and start looking at the communities concerns. And i'm not talking about a large outbreak of the whole community spamming you about yasuo or camille. Also, the hotfix only made a currently shitty champ slightly less shitty.
