League of legends is already running.

I cannot play the game. It says the process is already running. If I delete everything and take 5 mins to download then I can play. But as soon as I log out. I cannot log back in because "league is already running" please help. I cannot play.

try going to task manger and look to see if league is on in back ground and end league and try to re open
