so, rito, my boy Aatrox is in a bad spot since a while now, and i saw a suggestion from one of my fellow league member on the Boards asking you to change Aatrox 's ultimate for Sion's old ultimate, AND THAT GUY BLEW MY MIND.

i can't believe i didn't think about it before and i think its a wonderfull idea that would give purpose to Aatrox gameplay wise while making him more acurate lore wise.

here's why :

Aatrox is know to show up to seamingly lost battles and inspiring the soldiers to fight with his Brutal blade dance on the field giving the losing army strenght to fight back to victory.

and right now Aatrox is a skirmisher/splitpusher while he should be a great teamfighter rallying his teamates.

thats where Sions old ultimate comes in, not only is the attack speed steroid fitting to Aatrox kit, but the part where he lifesteals for his allies makes him the teamfighter he's meant to be in his lore.

  • fitting the lore even more, When your team seem like they are losing the fight, Aatrox comes in with his ultimate giving his Allies health while he cleaves and dance trough the flesh of his foes, giving them hope and turning the tides in his favor.

i'd like to get some feedback about this from you guys (forgive my english as it isn't my main language) do you think this would make Aatrox not only interesting but viable on the rift or would it be gamebreaking and cancer

imo he's in a good spot, if anything other champs need nerfing. So instead of asking rito to buff him complain about op champs. plus next patch should be promising for him as warlords mastery lifesteal pbe changes seem really strong on him. so does merc treads buff

theres a difference between being a strong initiator for your team, and giving your team buffs aatrox's lore talks about his initative strength more so than anything. by taking the initial brunt of the dmg /breaking the ice, and surviving with his passive to then continue the fight.
