New content for Blue Essence needed.

Blue Essence has been the name of the game for what, two months, and already I'm back at the point I was before the change over - I have far more than enough to buy the next champ that gets released (and the next after that), and nothing else to spend my essence on. I spent all that I could on goodies in the special shop, but with champions and mastery being the only things you can spend it on, and already having mastery maxed on the half dozen champs I play regularly, I'm back to being a dragon.

Sure, I could buy even more Rune Pages, but I'm only using like 10 of the 20 that I have, and have no real need of any more since I can always edit them in champ select. Where are the emotes that cost as much as a champion? Where are the 20k~50k skins or mystery skin boxes? There are things that could be put in place for grinders like myself to feel rewarded for earning XP and the accompanying BE. Am I meant to just be saving up another pile in anticipation of the supposed second coming of the Essence Emporium? I looked through the shop, and there is literally nothing other than rune pages that I'm even capable of spending my essence on.

It just doesn't feel rewarding. It's IP with a roulette system thrown in at this point. Before the change, I more or less ignored my IP because it didn't matter - I always had far more than plenty. Now, not even through with preseason, we've already come full circle. What happened to the promise of more to do with our Blue Essence? Emotes were a great opportunity to give us SOMETHING to spend it on, but other than the "Hey, I'm rich!" ones from the Emporium, there are no essence-purchasable emotes to be found.

I'm not even looking for anything specific, just something to make my rewards feel rewarding. Champ shards are a great way to reward players who haven't collected every single champion yet, but the rest of us are left out in the cold.
