EloHell is a thing

'Sup guys. I'm here to tell you about the things that occuring in EloHell right now (yes, it is a thing. I don't care what any pro/youtuber says.) If you are in silver/gold then you will most likely already know very well what I'm talking about. If you aren't, grab yourself some Popcorn and get ready for the saltiest post you've ever read. I will be explicitly explaining the type of idiocy that goes down in EloHell separated into topics. So without further ado let's get started.

VISION a.k.a Non existent. 50% of supports in EloHell don't buy sightstone. And from the 50% that do I'd say only 40% actually use it. Every other one is running around the whole game with 0/3 of wards placed. Seeing how many wards teammates have placed is one of the most helpful features Riot has added to LoL while at the same time being one of the most infuriating. Check it out yourself. Go to a random silver/gold game and you will see a support with 0/3 wards placed. Maybe 1/3 if the support is feeling adventurous. No matter how many times they've walked/died in the jungle or gone B, it will stay 0/3. But vision is no longer only the supports job and it hasn't been for a long time. But you know those new wards they added in season 7? I think they're called control wards. Well they're extinct down here. 75 gold is ''too much'' (i have been told this several times) for a laner to have to pay. Then they complain when they get ganked. Then when you tell them to buy wards they say ''report ____ for flame''. And if you think I'm saying this because I had one bad game...No. 100+ of the games I've played this season have had at least one laner that acted this way.

POSITIONING (Movie announcer voice) In a world where marksman think they're the frontline. Supports move like assassins. Tanks engage when not a single teammate is around. And assassins wont join teamfights until at least 3 enemies are under 200 health hoping to get all the kills just to jump in and die immediatley. I'm not over exaggerating. No one knows where they should/shouldn't be nor when they should/shouldn't be there. Each one worse than the last. Then when you recommend the right positioning depending on your comp, guess what..../all chat ''REPORT ____ FOR FLAME''. If you're a marksman or a spellcaster mage and you're IN FRONT of our tank....you're the problem and you will die.

TEAMPLAY Quick Note. Just because it's called SOLO QUEUE doesn't mean you're playing alone. You're still in a team and it's still a team game. SO PLAY WITH THE TEAM. At least once in every game (yes. every game.) 3 or more people will say ''group'' or ''regroup''. Then one minute later you'll have two people midlane, one person farming jungle (usually isn't even the jungler), one person split pushing with a champ that has no waveclear and nothing against turrets and one dude running around somewhere with no vision that usually ends up dying. Then when they randomly come together as 5 (which is random because this would never happen out of pure knowledge) the teamfight is a continuous 1v5 as each memeber of the team jumps in alone to fight.

STRATEGY Rotating? nah Pressure? forget about it Lane formations? everyone go mid When it comes to strategy in EloHell it's like a pro soccer player playing with a bunch of fourth graders. Strategic plays aren't on anyone mind in EloHell. The only strategy in Elohell is ''Push mid = GG''. Pop quiz. If you push down midlane, get all the turrets and the inhibator then everyone goes B. The top and bot tier 2 towers are still up, do you: A. Go back to midlane and run around looking for a teamfight or B. Group and push one of the side lanes to get the other inhibators and get pressure for Baron/Dragon Take a second and guess what happens in EloHell. A. After getting an inhibator, players either return to midlane and spend the duration of the downed inhibator there or they go for baron and drag directly after pushing with no ultimates, smites, summoner spells etc. then get aced. This happens in 90% of games in Elohell.

POSITIONS Let me tell you how each position acts in Elohell. -Top: The top laner will stay top for at least 15 minutes, use teleport just to get back in lane and comment on everyone else in the game. If the enemy top laner uses tp to a different lane, there is only a 40% chance your top laner will follow. If you're lucky it will ping or tell you that the enemy is teleporting. It will take every chance it gets to push top lane while completely ignoring the position of its allies/enemies. -Mid: The mid laner can act in one of two ways. Feed or get fed. There is no mid laner which isn't one of the two by the end of the game. Wards are extinct midlane and calling SS is like a foreign language. Roaming is something that will happen on occasion. And if the enemy mid laner roams, consider yourself lucky if the mid laner pings at least once and don't even TRY to expect for it to follow. -Marksman: Marksman in season 7 are either extremely strong or no better than minions. The ones who are extremely strong think they can 1v3 no matter the comp and the ones who are as useful as minions will act like minions. The strong marksman will 9/10 be pushing bot lane alone with one ward in the tri bush which is useless because they don'T look at their mini map because they'Re so focused on farming (because that's so hard amiright). They are also deaf and have a bad case of tunnel vision so any attempt to alert ping or write ''enemy inc'' will fail. -Support: I don't even know what to say about supports. It's hit or miss with supports. Most of them choose to ignore their fellow laner and just engage/disengage whenever they feel bored. They won't ward but still buy sightstone just to recall with 3 wards remaining and 0/3 placed. But somehow they're the most helpful in teamfights. But if you miss out then the support is usually one of the dumbest players in the game thanks to autofill. (speaking out of experience. I used to main ADC but was forced to stop because supports are too inconsistent. I had a Blitzcrank in my team who refused to use his ultimate because he said it made him ''do less damage'' and the ''silence is useless'' in those exact words. -Jungler: The gamechanger. This position decides who wins the game. But in EloHell they're pretty much all the same. If a laner dies once, don't gank because they're now useless. If you see a gank by the enemy jungler, don't countergank because the laner will die anyway. If a laner asks for a gank, don't do it because they're ''not the boss of you'' then proceed to not gank anyone ( this happens in 3 out of 5 games). It's sad that junglers are so important at the moment because it makes every other lane feel helpless. And god forbid you say even the slightest negative thin towards them because they are the most sensitive people on the planet and will afk or afk farm in an instant. (and this is coming from someone who rarely flames [not gonna say never because if you say you never flame you're a liar]).

COMMUNICATION /allchat GG FF 20 70% of the time the only thing you'll see all game. Riot might as well remove the little bit of data pings take up on your PC because no one uses them anyways. And when they are used they're either spammed or ignored. Just typing normally doesn't work either because no one reads chat because they're too focused on whatever the heck they're doing and the only time someone reads it is when you use capital letters but in EloHell caps = flame so guess what happens when you use capital letters? you guessed it.../allchat ''REPORT ____ FOR FLAME''.

PLAYERS ''Haha I bet you don't have a girlfriend and play league all day because you have no friends'' - Dude with no girlfriend and plays league all day with no friends The main reason EloHell exists is mainly because of bandwagoners who play league because everyone else plays league and they play ranked because why the fuck not (insert excuse my profanity meme here). League of legends may just be a game, but it can be used as a means of income if you are good enough. As someone who is really competitive and would love to play league competitivley if he got the chance, I take ranked games seriously. And most players mentalities in Elohell ranked is ''it's just a game dude''. The only time it's ''just a game'' is outside of ranked. Once you play ranked I expect you to actually have a reason for it. Aside from that. Each team in EloHell will consist of the following A feeder A troll A know-it-all (who really knows nothing) A dude that gives up if you die twice before the 10 minute mark A dude who says nothing all game then towards the end of the game get a bunch of kills but you still lose anyway It is close to impossible to find a team that doesn't have at least 3 of the 5. The giver uppers bother me the most because league of legends is a game that no matter what the circumstances it is always possible to win but since they give up they make it impossible. (I was in a game the other day where each position won except for a talon who died twice before the 10 minute mark then said ''this is over ff at 20''. We continued to destroy 5 turrets, get 3 dragons and the score was 21-10 for us. But talon kept saying ''it's over. just ff''. So instead of noticing that we could win, he started solo pushing and dying and not helping in teamfights just to write ''see i told you so'' and we ended up losing.

I play on EUW. I'm posting this with my second account because I don't want people going to lolking with my main account and having some kind of prejudices because of the champs i play or my Win/lose ratio. Ranked League of Legends in silver and gold has become completely based off of luck and it's really annoying because it is a fun game that is ruined by its community. I used to play on a Diamond Elo but now somehow it seems impossible to get through the massive jungle known as EloHell.

Thank you and good night.

(If you have any questions concerning EloHell, want to hear more situations what happen in it or want me to elaborate on something feel fee to ask)

that's not elo hell at all, that's just low elo where players don't know how to play

the only legit elohell is D5 where the gap between d5 and d4 is as big as an entire league

always thought that was p1.

no it's actually easy as fuck to get into d5 nowadays. but it's hard to get out of it at least mid/late season where the actual good players have gone up to d3+.

P1 is where you get the D5 washed up thrashers causing your games to be clown fiestas.(I actually got p1 last season, own experience)

But after you get to D5, your lp gains can go from +20/-10 to something like +10/-13, even with a positive winrate, because the MMR gap between d5 and d4 is so huge.

Granted I've never been in D5, but a lot of D5 players experienced this
