truth about low elo and ranking up

Isedelica··1 votes·688 views

if you are in low elo and you really wanna rank up just counter pick EVERY SINGLE GAME and it will be super easy

but if you don't care and want to play whatever you want then you won't rank up quickly it's how the game works

I am exhausted of players who pick their champions just because they counter another. If you have little or no experience with a champion then picking it just because it counters someone grants the enemy one free lane and places your entire team behind the instant you step up against an opponent who mains their champion.

you just need a little of experience with the champ and it's usually enough cause i remember i would play to win and rank up pretty quick

when i started playing what i wanted it went down hill cause i counter picked myself and would start to lose more

so yes counter picking does work of course to an extent also

Its not counter picking that makes it easy. Its your understanding of the game. Learn mechanics, learn how to play from behind and how to further advantages when ahead. High elo repeats and repeats themselves time and time again. Its not who you play but how you choose to play them. You will notice challenger smurfs can literally go on 30-40 game winsprees without fail, thats not luck, its knowledge. If you practice enough that will become your skill level aswell

i want you to beat a hec jg with a kassadin jg good luck with that

he has early advantage so he can push you out your own jg unless your team is there to help

i want you too understand something i don't care if there challenger the difference between them and the rest of us

IS THEY REALLY WANNA WIN BADLY and they will pick a champ to win and counter play i see it all the time and they admit it

so this whole you can win without counter pick is true but you need to set up at least

if the other team has 3 tanks and there's 5 squishes on your team its over especially if it hits late game

the chance of winning is extremely low im not complaining but if they pick a tank the other team has to pick a tank to balance it out its how the game goes

That's like the worst advice you can give someone.

As much as I dread seeing Aatrox scale into a mobile minion and become almost useless, I much prefer the longtime Aatrox main over the first time Jayce going against something like Nasus. It rarely works out.

Play what you know and play it a lot. You're less likely to make mistakes because you know where you excel and you know your limitations. There's no surprises.

you are still thinking of counter play in that instance what if i wanna play Amumu top lane verses nasus that won't last long even if i do get a lead he will out scale me eventually

or if you play Kassadin jg vs Hecarim let me know how will it goes

unless my team counter picks them or has some plan it won't go well even if you are feed

cause where not talking about a team where talking about a group of randoms

its not the same

I almost cringed when I saw you say Amumu top, but then you said Karthus jungle....in ranked?

Actually, if you want to rank up, afk farm your lane. Don't try to make risky plays, try to land every minion. Only harass if its convenient and under trading-stance.

The reason so many people can't get up to gold tier is simply because they refuse to focus on making their gold income reliable. They'll snowball one game, feed the next, then blame their team for both if they're losses.

Also, spend your gold well...you'd be surprised how many people don't. No point in having 4k more gold than anyone else if its essentially wasted.

Heimerdinger Toplane. Alright.

too an extent but you need to set up a team that can fight you can't just pick whats fun for you and expect to win ever game the game doesn't work like that

there's champions and team comps for a reason

WoonStruck1 votes

I never counterpick. I never pick for comps. I still climb just fine.

The only exception is when I'm playing Skarner. I won't pick him into champions that can essentially invalidate my engage.

As long as you don't hard-counter** yourself **without a good reason, yeah you can pick pretty much anything and win if you're actually better than the others on the enemy team and deserve to climb.

I'm basically spamming Morgana mid, and other easy champs when I don't get it, and climbing. I went from Silver IV to Silver III 83 LP by doing this recently (like just this week, and not every day). I don't super care about team comps right now. I basically just push mid with Morgana and try not to die and help in some fights and ward and last hit and stuff...

Morgana is basically at the bottom difficulty of champions according to Riot's ratings.

Sort by difficulty order: http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_champions

It's cheesy, I guess, but it works and I've been climbing. Results are results. I dunno.

Also it was more difficult when I started with Morgana but it's getting a little easier as I spam her. Basically the advice (to climb) I've heard from some higher elo people is to pick something and get good at it by playing it a lot...

i went from bronze 5 all the way to silver 5 with nasus pushing top 80% of my games it was stupid

now i play what i want instead of playing to win and i went right back down so it lets me know there is some exceptions to the game

where you do need to play what is needed

Yeah, I dunno. I guess. I dunno.

I wanted to climb and picking Support wasn't doing it for me so I hopped on Morgana mid.

Maybe I'll swap back to Support when I feel like the carry players are better. I'm worried that my Supporting won't be to level though.

I sound really full of myself. Sorry.

No, it doesn't work like this.

Isedelica1 votes

okay play Kassadin jungle vs a Hecarim and win let me know how that goes

Chalizard3 votes

Kassadin is not even jungler, I didn't tell you to pick troll picks but to play only few champs and master them. It's much better

Isedelica1 votes

hey you said thats not how it works lol

Chalizard1 votes

Because you are picking champs that limits and potential are uknown for you even if this champion is easy to play. It's much easier to climb if you main few champions or being OTP.
