HI So i want to share this with you guys because i really hate how much runes cost even thought i like some of the grinding in the game but i hate this and here is the reson why because of the cost i can't try anything fun or weird EXAMPLE what if i use full health reg runes on garen or malph (because of there passive) ohh wait it cost 20k i am not paying 20K for build that will be fun for few games i will just use flat armor and magic ress and i will buy more champions same thing if full cooldown runes on because of this Q or because of his R exp runes energy runes and i can go on and on ...... it is shame that players can't try all of this option even thought they are in the game

well get tier 2 runes that cost 1 IP each til you have enough to get tier 3.

oh wait I used logic and reasoning in a issue regarding league...

thats ok for normal games but forcing new players to hit ranked with tier 2 runes sounds bad.

ok well most new people to rank don't even know what runes they need . and by lvl 30 if you cant seem to figure out how to fill two generic run pages then you need to rethink what you are doing with IP

AD page 9 ad reds 9 armor seals 3 ad quints 9 mr blues

AP page 9 magic pen reds 9 armor seals 3 ap quints 9 mr blues

but as the OP stated about hp regen runes... you can have a mixture of tier 3 and tier 2

like use tier 3 on all the runes except for the hp regen runes and then get tier 2 for those til you get enough IP for them

also you have to make a choice of using IP on champs or runes... people don't want to use RP (pay $$ ) so they use their IP for champs therefore they lack IP for runes

if you stop buying champs with IP til you get a few basic rune pages and just invest a lil $ in rp for a few champs ( like the bundles that give a handful of champs for like $10 )

I know people cant always spend $ I get that... I have bills trust me... this week at work sucked and rent is due ... but you don't have to have everything at once...

riot has to have income to support all the things needed to keep the game running ... so by them kinda in a way forcing you to get RP for champs instead of using IP it supports the game...

fyi I have played since end of season 2 and I have only spend $325 on the game with buying RP for champs/skins etc and most of that was gifting to friends for whatever ... last two times I got RP I got a skin for a friend for her bday and I was kind and gave another friend on my buddy list a few champs for the holidays...

they arent forcing you... you have a choice

and you dont have to have runes to play...

and they have free champs every week

you dont have to spend a bit of IP or RP to play the game at all

side note hp per 5 arent really worth on garen

better of running ad or armor quints , better yet movement speed quints

dude just to end all of this.My main account is a season 1 account more than 7000 games on it,and i still had not unlocked everything in the game(runes and champions) i was missing 5 champions and i had 5 rune pages.

well this account started end of season 2... i have all champs but Camille Kled Ivern

20 rune pages and all the runes

and i have only spent $325 on the game in that time span... and majority of the $ spend was gifts to friends

they aren't forcing you at all. They are giving you a simple choice, either you get champions with RP or you use IP to get champions. Last i ever bought any RP was in season 4 or 5 (whenever it was that Panda Annie was released) and that was because a friend of mine wanted to trade skins. There is no powerup behind getting anything. You cannot buy runes with RP, you can get IP boosts with RP but not runes. There are no 100% F2P games, they all have some amount of micro transactions attached to them since otherwise they would make no money whatsoever which would mean that the game would be shut down... unless there's some F2P game that is sustained purely by donations which i have no idea if those even exist.

i feel like attack speed quints are better overall because it just makes your attack animation smoother, and you need it on most ad champs.

but all champs can use ad... not all can really use or need as

so i feel ad for the +15 ad to start the game scales better through out

You can only do so much with Tier 2 runes, seeing how limited they are compared to Tier 3. But that's just my take on things.

Lots of T3 runes don't exist in T2 (hybrid pen, % HP, EXP, etc.)

You mentioned using T2 Runes.

OP mentioned many runes that are only T3

That is what he is actually complaining about

its still all runes....

there are runes to use...

and i mention in a very lengthy post regarding runes over all

and using hp per 5 runes on garen arent ideal

so there is zero point to run them .

AND I OFFER A SUGGESTION TO THE ISSUE REGARDING RUNES

by using what runes he can get ... but i guess that was to hard to understand

Literally the entire post is about runes that "aren't ideal" and just for fun. Once again, OP is not complaining that he can't use any runes. He is complaining that the ones he will use just as a gag for a few games are too expensive.

Once again, he is not talking about all runes, but just some runes that would be a few game gag and aren't meant to be viable.

They exist because when League of Legends was created, Riot wanted a progression system for players to feel good about getting stronger and keep playing the game as a result.

Then you have rune pages, which makes it so that you have to grind in order to have seperate runes for different types of matchups. I agree that runes are just so expensive. I think riot should lower the cost of runes, to make the game a bit less one sided.
