What in the vision category can counter W? I feel like it stays up far too long and she can Q+auto me 2-3 times without being attacked either resulting in death or a massive HP loss.

When I playing against her and when she drops "W" I just going to safe zone/as far away I can but also I like play her a lot so pro-tip-not-pro-tip: you have to poke her and don't stay too long in melee actions. Rush her after her "W" is on cd and low energy bar also her "R" has massive cd so her mobility is a bit restricted. I hope that shall help you.

The only thing that can counter Akali's W is true sight. So hitting her with something like Lee Sin's Q.

his Q grants true sight against the target and applies a whopping 60% healing debuff on the jank (good against gunblade/ravenous hunter or conqueror)

his E also grants true sight against the target, and allows you to dash again in order to chase.

he is a bit janky, and has some weird things (like courage gain for re-mount) you will have to learn before playing him optimally, but he will crush her.
