QoL buff to Riven

Most of Rivens damage comes from the combination of her Q and resets, she builds, is balanced and played around that mechanic and it is essential for Riven to be able to use it anytime unless she is hit by a CC that prevents anyone from using abilities (Knockups, knockbacks, silence, suppression , stun and freakin Zoes sleep) I think we all agree on that.

The problem is that some types of CC that aren't meant to stop a champ from using his skills to do dmg are affecting Riven's damage output, these types of CC are root and grounded, they prevent Riven from using her Q, these 2 types of CC tend to last longer and be cheaper than other types of CC because they are weaker than stuns/knocks etc... against most champs but they aren't much weaker against Riven.

We can't allow champ to use his/her mobility when she/he is grounded/rooted because that would be breaking the rules and we don't want to steal CertainlyT's job.

Here's the change that in my opinion should be applied to Riven to solve that: When Riven is rooted or grounded her Q can be used but it loses its mobility.

With this change Riven could fight opponents in melee range during the 3 years of Morgana's root but the root would be doing its job preventing Riven from moving.

This makes sense but Riven is already good so doesn't really make sense.

The change would need to go through for most movement abilites so that's a no on my end

Don't think the programmers would see a this as worthwhile... It may seem like simple but would require alot to make it work...

Sure it's a If x then x statement preventing riven from using Q And E if rooted/grounded... The problem will then be in recoding rivens Q and she would actually have 2 As (us players wouldn't see) one would be regular then the other would replace her Q whole grounded/rooted.

Or they could go and change how roots/grounding works for all champs would probably require even more work/testing.
