Champion Prices

I already made this post once but it disappeared for some reason..

I've been playing league for about 6 - 7 years and I recently lost my account, upon trying to rebuild my account I found it harder than I remember to get the champions I wanted and was good at. It takes way to long to get a 6300 champion, this is from experience and It quite off putting. The main argument is that champions are priced too high. I am suggesting that all champions be priced something in the middle like 3250? making them more accessible to player new and old.

Collecting all the champions is really a feat.. that being said it would take roughly 4 years. Heres the math

Calculations:

Method: Step 1: How much IP would it take? 13 450 IP Champions: 5,850 22 1,350 IP Champions: 29,700 24 3,150 IP Champions: 75,600 46 4,800 IP Champions: 220,800 32 6,300 IP Champions: 163,200 (Note: This is calculated using 5,100 instead, as rolling champion shards (1,700 x 3) is cheaper than buying the champions at 6,300.)

Total IP Cost of All Champions: 495,150

Step 2: How fast do you earn IP? IP from Win: 18 + 2.312/Min (87.36 for a 30 Min Game) IP from Loss: 16 + 1.405/Min (58.15 for a 30 Min Game)

First Win of the Day: 150 IP Assumption: 3 Games Per Day, Play Coop vs AI any time you lose the first 2 games.

Daily Rate: 368 IP / Day

Step 3: Simple Division 495,150 / 368 = 1344 Days, or 3 Years, 8 Months

Of course these numbers are estimated but from my standpoint they are still fairly accurate. To get a single 6300 champion is takes nearly 2 whole consecutive days of playing, or if you are playing the estimated 3 games a day, 17 days. This is absolutely ludicrous. Hard to find a champion you like and want to play it takes 17 days to get one of the 140 ..

I understand if you wanted to put new champions are a higher price for a set amount of time but to have champions priced so highly, well there's actually no reason for it.

Without making this too long the main point is it takes too long to acquire champions

Thank you for your time I hope I can get a reply Sincerely Just Another Player..

Course they should be lowered, and no one but riot will argue they shouldn't . Goal is to get you to buy rp and buy champs that way. Yes this means you don't get things for free, but I just get spurts and only buy champs when they are on sale

Your math relies on both the old method of shard rerolling and the old method of exp gain. It's..... Not very relevant now since your primary way of getting initial champs would be upgrading shards (reduced cost) and the few champs riot now gives you for free.

The only champs you get for free are a 1350 champion, Shard upgrading is still expensive ? its still 4800 for a 6300 champion, Yes it has gotten faster but the math is still pretty relevant to the current system.

Lp gains are also higher for the average player, and reducing all of the champ costs by 30% or whatever for sharing is quite significant
