lower grade when the opponent surrenders?

Having had a game today where i went 2/1/13 as morgana (support) in a match that the opponents surrendered after 21:59 and only getting an A+ i was cant help but feel that my grade was dragged down by the fact that they ff'ed as soon as they could. So i guess this post is really just to ask if that is a thing that actually happens and if so why. Seems as if that would punish us for playing well in the beginning of the match.

It was probably your CS and/or being shy a kill or two.

I have Mastery 6 on Morgana , almost entirely from support, and I can confirm that you'll need ~4 kills or so to consider getting an S in most games. It's really easy to get kills as Morg relative to other supports, so the average kills for Morg goes up, and therefore, your required kills for a good grade.

I went 3/0/20 as Nami last week and only got an A+. The system is just plain rigged. Getting punished for not having CS as a support is BS.

It's not BS. You're being compared to other champions in that role. Your peers are the one accomplishing more CS than you are. It all honesty, 20+ cs is all that is typically needed to net a S- on support. That's not difficult in a standard length game.

Getting 20 CS is meaningless BS. The ranking is supposed to reflect skill and performance in the match. In no way does your getting 20 CS mean anything other than you wasted time getting CS with a champion that sucks at getting CS.
