Was kinda wondering what is happening, I have not had a gold 5 in my game in so long...I am currently plat 4 32...my MMR was at 1900 as well..When I go see what rank the players are in my games it ranges from diamond 5 and gold 5 but how is this possible? The highest being diamond 5 and the lowest being gold 5...this has not happened in so long. I asked around on my friends list and they said they have had really low players in their games as well. Plat 1 having gold 4s.
Higher elo pop probs quitting so it has to pick people up from some where.
It has to do with increased queue times. There's a significant lack of players at higher elos and even fewer people that play support. The result is that they have to keep expanding the skill difference between players in order to get enough players together for a match otherwise you would get nothing in an hour.

because rito still hasnt figured out that dynamic que is trash. People are quitting and then its taking people from divisions WAY TOLOW and putting them into the games
seriously rito fix your fucking system nobody likes playing someone an entire tier under them
