why can Fidd cast hourglass during Crowstorm...... where Nunu cannot? if you activate hourglass, Nunu's Absolute Zero would stop instantly.
It would be nice if the hourglass can protect nunu while casting Absolute Zero; what do you think?

if you use zhonyas while you are CHANNELING fiddle's ult you would also interupt it
fiddle can move while he ults, and it's part flash.
Nunu's ultimate is a channel: he channels until the end or he is interuppted, and any CC that interrupts channels will cancel his ultimate.
Fiddlestick's ultimate is a channel, followed by a temporary DoT field. After he finishes his 1.5 second channel, he blinks to the target location and gains a 5 second buff that causes damage in an area around him. You cannot interrupt the buff effect, just the channel before he blinks.
So the difference is that Fiddlesticks has already finished his channel. Casting Zhonya's, then, does not interrupt it as it has already finished. Nunu has not finished his channel and thus Zhonya's interrupts it. This is kept in the game for a few reasons, namely A) consistency (all channels are interrupted by CC, and zhonya does CC the user), and B) that Nunu's ultimate is much stronger and quicker to get out. Fiddlesticks needs 6.5 seconds total for his ultimate's damage, where as Nunu needs 3 and gets comparable damage (actually higher scaling and lower base than fiddles).
after fiddle ults its not a channel anymore and is more comparable to karthus e then nunu ult. if we allowed nunu to zhonya's during his channel we'd have to allow it on kat, karth, malz, shen, tf, etc
I played Nunu last night... most underwhelming jungle champion I've played so far. They need to do something about his ultimate since with all the cc/mobility they give champions nowadays, it's impossible dish out the full damage with it. Basically, it has too much counterplay. And let's face it, outside of the jungle, nunu is a one trick pony. His Q only works on minions, his W is a rather weak AS/MS steroid (which makes no sense on a champ that's meant to scale off of AP). Which leaves his E which is the only thing you can land since he never gets to use his ult. Sorry for the rant, but Nunu needs a lot of love from Riot.
