Camera Lock Needs Just One Thing To Make It Great

So when you lock the camera, you get a (semi)even view around your champion as you play. it has clear downfalls in almost every situation since its pretty much a field of view nerf you apply yourself, but for a good percentage of players its the only way to go. Now how about this, you move your mouse to the edge of the screen to pan as you would normally, position your camera however far from your champion and then it follows your champion as it would if it were locked. It would be essentially the 'per-side offset' but self set throughout the game. You can call it something like sticky camera for neato Brand ing. It would probably be a good idea to have limits on how far you can position the camera away from your champion, since there would be no point if your champion wasnt in view, and spacebar to reset the view is always nice. All in all this would be a nice quality of life change to the game we could all appreciate. What do you think?

What you're asking for is already in the game. It is called "Semi-locked." You can pan your camera anywhere you want, but it keeps your champion in the camera instead of flying off on a magical journey. If you press F9 while in this mode, it locks the camera where you have it, so you can live without having the camera panning around you as your cursor touches the edge. After doing that, you can make any adjustments to the frame by holding down the middle mouse button. I actually looked this up, credit goes to FFF1 their post on a different thread. I hope this helps. Cheers! [slayer-jinx-catface]
