Camera Lock Needs Just One Thing To Make It Great
So when you lock the camera, you get a (semi)even view around your champion as you play. it has clear downfalls in almost every situation since its pretty much a field of view nerf you apply yourself, but for a good percentage of players its the only way to go. Now how about this, you move your mouse to the edge of the screen to pan as you would normally, position your camera however far from your champion and then it follows your champion as it would if it were locked. It would be essentially the 'per-side offset' but self set throughout the game. You can call it something like sticky camera for neato
ing. It would probably be a good idea to have limits on how far you can position the camera away from your champion, since there would be no point if your champion wasnt in view, and spacebar to reset the view is always nice. All in all this would be a nice quality of life change to the game we could all appreciate. What do you think?
