League isn't the game for me anymore.

So recently, over the past few days, I've been trying to play some league games. I still have some fun with friends, but I can't have anywhere near the amount of fun I used to. Why? because my ping is 10 times what it used to be, with random lag spikes in the middle of any team fight, making winning nearly impossible, even if I play champions that are insanely good right now (skarner) and champs I used to main. I simply can't. I understand that giving the east coast players lower ping was a must, and I fully supported it, but the fact that the game is now unplayable for me is simply insane. I went from getting 20 ping constantly (due to my amazing internet and being on the west coast) to a CONSTANT 200 ping. I'm sorry, but I simply can't do it. I would love to play, but with this much lag I feel like its just not possible for me to be a help to the team anymore. I look forward to a time when everyone can actually get the ping they deserve, but until then I'm done playing. Sincerely, A concerned customer

On a side note, I agree with having servers in multiple locations- I understand it would be a hassle for both consumers and Riot, but anything would be better than what my friends and I are having to deal with right now.

the switch just happened and riot has not yet set up all routes and connections but has done a main connection and seeing how that one is doing so give it time.

I think it's not on Riot's side, but internet routing. I've got a pretty direct connection from Hawaii, which gives me no more than 120ish ping. So try to find out your internet routing, because that can make a difference of 10-120 ping from what I've heard.

I have no idea. I have no Riot employee responding to my threads or helping me at all. When I submit a ticket it takes them a week to respond so what's the point in playing? They always say it is the customer's fault and not their's. They should have left the servers the way they are because they are A) Not helping any of us or doing anything about lag issues for us customers that are having problems with it. B) Don't care.
