Play alot of co-op vs AI games. No toxicity there and people generally honor each other.

Be a talkative support that consistently does his job well

I've hit Level 5 every year so far except this one(I simply haven't played as much this year; game isn't fun anymore), but one of the easiest ways I've found to gain honor is in AI. Go in there, be super supportive, and you'll get at least one honor a game. People are way more relaxed there, and no one expects you to dish out compliments there, so it makes a difference. Of course, you can apply that concept to PVP, but it seems like I get way more honors vs AI.
