spring is to go to msi (may) then rift rivals (june-july) summer they play for the remainder of worlds spots and seating they go to worlds (oct-nov) (sometimes allstar) and the cycle repeats

as for "split 2 of 2" it is what Riot released at the moment because right now there are only 2 splits.
