Fizz vs. Zed

Hey, I am having trouble with fizz vs zed (playing as fizz).

Pre-6 he just pokes me nonstop at a safe distance while farming, and it forces me to play safe/lose cs. It's also almost impossible to try and farm by dodging with my e because I can e about 3 times before I'm out of mana. After 6, every time I ult, zed ults and it cancels mine, so I generally stay away from him. Any tips on how to win this matchup?

My build is usually corrupting potion > lich bane > boots > zhonya. If I die early I pick up armor on my back instead and just turret hug all game. If I get a good gank then I go into rod first.

Just don't feed early to mid game and assassinate him late game, I don't play fizz myself, but i do this against zed. If you are a good fizz(im thinking you are) then late game fizz should kill zed before he can kill fizz

There is almost no reason for a fizz to lose any kind of trades with a zed pre-6

your best bet is to practice fizz more.

Zed wins extended trades and quick trades, best thing to do is force a back with a gank and hit 6 before Zed does

no zed will never in any circumstance win an extended trade with a fizz.

you realize Zed has lower cooldowns early, more damage even against fizz w and he has essentially damage amplification?

FIzz is mid to late game whereas Zed is early to mid
