Can't win games

Hey Guys, I just recently got into gold for the first time, and i'm having hard time to win games. I'm currently on a 10 game losing streak and still haven't got demoted. I seem to do well in the early game when i play ap caster mids but then late game I just get crushed by divers like Diana and assassins. And I can't close out the games. I really need some help. And any advice to close out the games faster so people like Diana can't one shot me. Please need help <3

What champs do you main mid? A lot of games you just need the right team comp.

I like to play vel'koz and Katarina when I can. And I also main just and started playing tanks with heavy cc because that is what seems broken right now, I just need help with closing how games so the game doesn't stall out long enough for them to get strong.
