Braum best use of his shield is this?

Maybe Braum's best use of his shield is shielding a Banner Cannon Minion..... :( I guess based on what I read on redditt and here people dont have a problem with empowered minions and shielding champions taking base instead of champions fighting for the base.... i have seen this in a number of games..... I dont know...I enjoyed fighting for base objectives instead of potentially protecting a champion like Braum while he protects a minion.... To me this is just silly gameplay
